This is a great range and facilities are quite nice. I took their low light pistol class this evening. C.E. was my trainer and probably one of the best classes I’ve taken in a few years. He was very knowledgeable about low light shooting, brought up outstanding points about home defensive, and made me think about my awareness in the dark. Great drills, great instruction, and I had so much fun. Thank you C.E. for the informative training. You’re a great instructor and I hope to be back soon!
This was my first time at Defender Outdoors Shooting Center and let me just say, this was an excellent facility and the highlight of my experience was Ronnie. Ronnie, who has been working at Defender Outdoors Shooting Center for many years, was incredibly engaging, knowledgeable, and frankly a good time to be around. He provided outstanding care and personally helped both myself and members of my group in the lanes; he made our experience go from 'great' to 'incredible'. I plan on returning to this facility, along with advertising it to friends and family, purely based on how welcoming and helpful the staff were.
I was in here yesterday and was helped by a nice young man by the name of Carter, who was a new employee and didn't know everything that I wanted to know, but by God he found out and was able to answer everything I wanted to know, tout suite, after asking some other more experienced employees. And fast. He has excellent customer service manners and brought my zero stars back up to 3/5. He was fantastic really. The last time I was in here I waited 30 plus minutes at the optics counter and couldn't get a lick of service the entire time I was there. Night and day difference for sure...
First visit here to attend a training class only. Nice classroom location just off the show room floor. Plenty of room for large group. Also located next to the lounge. Showroom area has pretty much everything the firearms enthusiast would need. Lots of help for new gun owner to make a purchase and/or attend a training class. I was there during the weekday and impressed with how many customers came to shoot (enjoy the discount during certain hours/days). Limited parking next to building but there are other locations nearby. Close to the 7th Street entertainment area of Ft Worth. I took lots of photos and posted them here.
Came here today to shoot my new DDmk18, had a good time. I did the pistol and rifle range. Next time I'll just do the rifle. The parking lot was full but I was able to get a parking spot. It's a really nice facility, I had to drive an hour to get here. I'll be back for sure
I recently purchased a firearm here and found that it had 2 correct magazines and one for a different model. I went to the store in person to talk to someone about it. The manager told me immediately that it was probably a manufacturer error, but he was working on something and I would need to wait. I waited for a full hour and the manager never addressed me again and disappeared into the back of the store. I left the store and sent an email, which they still have failed to reply to. I am disappointed to say the least. They were happy to take my money, but could care less after the transaction was complete. I will not shop here going forward.
Purchased a shotgun for my wife for Christmas, and had an issue with assembly once I got hit home. I thought it was actually broken, so I took it back up to Defender, and the guys at the counter all took time to help me work on it. It had inadvertently jammed as I was assembling. The customer service and willingness to help was next level.
Went in not sure which type of handgun to purchase. Carter was very knowledgeable and provided exceptional service and attention. Happily purchased 2 firearms rather than 1 to fit my needs with full confidence in my purchase.
